BSDA & Smile Institute

Buddhism for Social Development Action (BSDA) is a Cambodian NGO established in 2005 by seven monks.

BSDA’s programs cover a large scope, including education and vocational training for Orphans and vulnerable Children, Community and democracy development and work with youngsters who dropped out of school due to social marginalization.

Hanchey Bamboo Resort is the latest of the BSDA flagship programs. The resort runs as a training center providing education and work experience for the marginal youth of the Kampong Cham region.

BSDA created Smile Institute, where its beneficiaries can gain education and learn about valuable life hood skills.
