The Bamboo Hall

A serene space for learning and reflection, The Bamboo Hall (សាលឫស្សី) is a generously sized, enclosed meeting room built entirely from local bamboo and earth plaster.

Fully outfitted for up to 50 participants, the hall offers flexible seating configurations—boardroom, classroom or U-shape—plus high-speed Wi-Fi, a retractable LCD projector and screen, wall-mounted whiteboard and flip chart. Climate control is handled by air-conditioning and ceiling fans, while a full sound system and in-house support ensure every presentation, training or workshop runs without a hitch.

At the entrance, a statue of Jayavarman VII—Cambodia’s revered 12th-century king—presides over the space, lending a sense of calm authority and historical depth to every gathering. Inside, vaulted bamboo rafters arch over hand-troweled earth-plaster walls, diffusing natural light and optimizing acoustics. The warm tones of woven palm panels and polished bamboo floors create an atmosphere of quiet focus, inviting both creativity and calm.

Commonly booked for corporate trainings, conferences and retreats, the Bamboo Hall also suits indoor yoga, meditation, teacher-training sessions and coaching workshops during the rainy season or for more intimate wellness gatherings.
